Requirement understanding, Collection of critical data for Storage and Handling Equipment. 3. Designing of storage systems as per international codes such as EN 15512, SEMA, EN15620. 4. Suggesting suitable material handling equipment, by understanding SKU specifications, load, clear height availability, capacity requirements. 5. Arriving rack configuration- Optimum width, depth, height, last level, level to level, etc, aisle sizes, underpass provisions, etc such that it satisfies EN criteria, ergonomic factors, suits the chosen material handling method, without compromising structural stability. 6. Conducting site visits of warehouse to understand operations, installation feasibility, competitor product benchmarking etc. 7. Collecting information about material flow inside warehouse, operations inside the warehouse, material handling methods, such as trolleys, HPT, VRCs, spiral conveyors, etc. 8. Meetings with Customers for concluding solutions swiftly and effectively. 9. Providing Budgetary Cost for Standard Products. 10. Collaborating with Cross-functional Teams like Structural Engineering team for Seismic and APO designs, Purchase team/Vendor for Bought out Requirements. 11. Collaborating with internal post order design team, once the order is received, by handing them over entire details of solution proposed, R&D references and supporting them throughout the time till final installation and handover of site is done.
